THIS IS MORE THAN JUST A RETREAT

IT’S A CLOSE UP LOOK INTO A LITTLE KNOWN PART OF ASHTANGA HISTORY

No one knows the history and philosophy of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga better than the Sanskrit community of Mysore! From the origin of the Ashtanga sequences that have had a huge impact in yoga world wide, to the philosophical foundation of this global practice, all questions can be answered. For the first time ever, senior Sanskrit scholars from Mysore are collaborating to create a unique experience for international yoga students. This retreat will provide an authentic, authoritative, behind the scenes look into the fabric of yoga culture in Mysore.
