My body has been haunting me since childhood and I invented various ways of keeping it busy. As many yogis, I spent most of my school time in the karate brotherhood. I learned to listen to and to understand my body.

I have also wanted to learn to understand people better. So after school I studied to become a sociologist and a researcher. At the same time, I ended up in yoga.

After graduating from "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy" I took interest in research career, but didn’t forget about yoga, attending seminars and substituting instructors at their classes. It increased my interest.

In 2006 I became a muse and inspiration to my future spouse. At the same time I received initiation into kriya-yoga from Shailendra Sharma, in the lineage of Lahiri Mahasai. I have been practicing this invaluable yoga, a gift of Mahamuni Babaji ever since.

In 2008 I finally put away my career and concentrated on what really made me happy. I went deeper into physiology, studied Thai massage, have been experimenting with herbs and ayurveda.

I have been teaching regularly in yoga halls and giving private lessons since 2007. I am also still learning a lot of things myself, constantly travelling and attending training courses. Doug Svenson, Angela Farmer and Victor van Kooten, Maharaj Dev Das, Gabriella Giubilaro, Moscow AYC teachers, Sergey Sidortsov and Alex Taishev, and there are still so many of them to meet, talk to and come to learn something about myself!

My Teachers, whom I was so happy to meet on my way and receive some knowledge from the bottomless well of their wisdom, are Shri Shailendra Sharma, Angela Farmer and Victor van Kooten, and my husband Maxim Yasochka.

Nowadays, I am painting and taking photographs together with my significant other, inventing cosmetic recipes and making up our models, travelling and watching the world with my eyes wide open.
