Mark Darby & Joanne have been practicing Ashtanga Yoga for over 25 years. They began their practice with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, the master of Ashtanga Yoga, in 1979 when they spent four years in Mysore, India. They are part of the few teachers worldwide who have attained the highest level of Ashtanga Yoga teaching accreditation and are certified by Pattabhi Jois to teach the original Ashtanga method.

David began practicing yoga at a very early age. Well not quite as early as the photo but he did begin in 1969 at the age of 13. His older brother Doug was his first teacher. They practiced hatha yoga from whatever books they could find.

Doug is a master yoga practitioner, philosopher, poet and dedicated health advocate. He has incorporated influences from several different yoga systems along with his passion for nutrition and the environment to develop his unique approach. Over the years he has authored several books; "Yoga Helps", "The Diet That Loves You Most", "Power Yoga for Dummies" and "Mastering the Secrets of Yoga Flow".

Everything we teach is about helping people move inside and experience their Yoga in a way that gives them a deeper and warmer sense of themselves.

Jonas left his native Sweden as a teenager and began extensive world travels. Fascinated by the multitude of exotic cultures he came across in the east, he ventured off on an adventurous soul search to many extraordinary places. During this time he began exploring a variety of body-mind practices such as yoga, meditation and bodywork. After many years of intensive travels Jonas decided to pursue an academic study that would align with his interests in body-mind practices. In the early 90's he received a degree in physiotherapy from Lund University in Sweden, followed by a US Physical Therapy license in 1995. A wide range of holistic modalities have been informative to his understanding of health and healing.
